What do you mean by 'self-managed?
Self-managed means that all the work with a website is done by a webmaster. Our support is limited to hosting-related issues and questions.
We have started adding the text "self-managed hosting" as there is a large number of new webmasters who expect us to educate them on different aspects of website development, fix website-related errors and sometimes even write code9. Can I change or update the PHP version for each site individually?
Yes, there is a section to change PHP versions for the primary domain, and for other domains, it is done via htaccess handlers.
Yes, all the sites can have different PHP versions and different PHP configurations for them :). This is something we just do not do. If you have an error > we expect you to dig into it, visit your Error Log (also available from your dashboard), use google, forums, and find a solution yourself.
Will I get different panels for each domain?
In short: No. A cloud hosting account is built around 1 primary domain, and every account has 1 stackcp dashboard account only (can't be split). You get different dashboards only for different hosting accounts.
Does HostMaria provide SSH access?
By default SSH is disabled.
Please open a support ticket and we will enable SSH for you and your team.
Please note: command 'sudo' is disabled - trying to use 'sudo' several times will result in permanently disabled SSH.
Is there a limit to file size upload?
PHP max upload file size is set to 128M by default. This can be changed through the PHP Configuration option within a hosting package.
The maximum FTP upload/download size is 5GB.
Where are your Cloud data centers located?
HostMaria offers Cloud accounts in partnership with 20i data center. The 20i data center is located in the UK. The founders of the data center are also the founders of the largest UK domain registrar 123reg.
Do we migrate websites?
No, we do not.
Is a free domain included?
No, free domains are not included.
Do we implement inodes limitations?
No, we do not :) There are no inodes limitations
Does this Web Hosting Plan Include emails with my domain name?
Yes of course :) You get unlimited email addresses.
Can we get a free SSL for each site and is it simple to do?
Activating free SSL certificates is super easy. There is just one requirement: you need to use our nameservers :) After that, you get unlimited free SSLs.
Can I configure g suite email?
Yes. In DNS settings we even have 1 click setup to auto-setup G Suite email records for each and each domain.
